Lots of fun things going on for our family this spring:
Kelson always gets very excited to get our garden planted in the spring, and I'm always trying to hold him back so he doesn't plant our vegetables in January. He and Sarah had fun making signs for each row.
I went in to check on Chris at quiet time, and he actually flopped over and fell asleep. Miraculous!
Kate loved her first time in the swing!
It is so happy when we can finally play outside!

For the second year in a row, Kelson had to travel on my birthday, so we spent the day with family in Baker. The kids love playing in Grandma's playhouse.
Instead of a cake, Katy made me a pina colada cheesecake. Yum! This birthday was way more fun than the last one, which I spent wanting to die of morning sickness. Kate is much nicer on the outside.
A good family friend surprised me by fixing this necklace that belonged to my great grandmother. I used to wear it all the time, but it broke several years ago.
Our chocolate vine bloomed beautifully this year!

The maple tree in our front yard died, so we dug it up and replaced it with a dogwood tree. Digging a big hole is always a good time.

First food! Applesauce and oatmeal. Sarah loves all of these milestones with Kate.
It's always a fun day when Grandma comes to visit. We always go for lunch at Arctic Circle. The tiny ice cream cones are just right for the kids.
Unfortunately, this day ended badly when Chris fell off of a yoga ball and started screaming. I could instantly tell something was wrong by the way his arm was dangling. He is a really tough little guy, so I knew something was definitely wrong when he couldn't stop crying. 3 hours in the ER and 3 sets of x-rays later, they were pretty sure his arm was broken, but they couldn't find the fracture. They put him in a soft cast and told us to take him into the pediatric orthopedist in two weeks.

Sarah and I dressed up fancy and went to see the BYU theatre ballet presentation of The Sleeping Beauty in Ontario. We started with a tea party and delicious treats.
Then Sarah got to dance with the ballerinas. Best day ever!
Sarah dances all day long and is determined to be a ballerina when she grows up.
Sarah and I loved having a night out without any little siblings!
The Hindman ladies all joined us for the ballet. It was a great Mother's Day date, followed by ice cream at Kiwi Loco.
Our rosebush looked amazing this spring!
More fun at Grandma's house. We are trying to take full advantage of our ability to go to Grandma's house whenever we feel like it.
