January: Snowbound Fun

We were stuck inside for the month of January because of the snow and the cold, so we had to find fun things to do.

 Sarah is so ladylike. This is her dinosaur face. It appears a lot.

 I took my fish-loving girl to the aquarium in Boise. It is tiny, but they let you touch almost all of the fish.  Sarah loved it.

 She even got to pet sting rays and sharks!

 We have done lots of science experiments and art projects. Baking soda, vinegar, and food coloring kept her busy for hours. The hair makes for a great mad scientist look. 

 We painted stripey fish using tape and watercolor paints. I don't know why there are socks on her hands.

She spent two hours in the bath playing with colored shaving cream while the baby took a nap. It was like a vacation for mom!
