Easter in Virginia: 2015

We arrived in Norfolk the day before Easter, and we were living in a hotel. so our celebrations were pretty simple this year. We spent the day relaxing and listening to our church leaders testify of Christ, the perfect activity to remember the Savior on the day that we celebrate his Resurrection.
Kelson & I hunted our Easter baskets in the hotel room.

Sarah got to hunt hers outside. She didn't really know what was going on, but she was definitely excited when we helped her find the basket hiding in the tree.

She loved her bunny & her chick, or as she says, a "doot doot"
It took a while to catch on to the fact that she was supposed to put the eggs in her basket. First, she wanted to take the ones out of her basket and put them with the hidden ones.
Going through her loot and getting really excited about her new socks. Wearing socks is a new concept for Sarah. She pretty much never wore them in Hawaii.
Biggest Easter egg of all!

 I love it so much!
Once she got the first egg open, it didn't take long to figure out that there were yummy things hiding inside. Sarah loved Easter.
We enjoyed a delicious Easter dinner of canned clam chowder and carrots with dip.
We loved having the chance to show Sarah how fun Easter can be. It will be even more fun next year!
