Happy Valentine's Day!

Sarah got to do her first craft project with Mommy for Valentine's Day.  She helped make valentines for her daddy and her grandparents.  I'm sure it was the first of many mommy-daughter crafting sessions.
Sarah wasn't sure about the process of having red ink rubbed all over her feet.
We used her little thumbs for the hearts on the front and obviously her feet for the inside.  Cute, huh?
Then we needed a picture to go with it. You may have seen the adorable pictures of babies with kisses all over on Pinterest.  We decided to try to recreate it.  This picture was the winner.
Halfway through the photoshoot, I decided to put some really cute red pants on her.  She did not appreciate that.  Apparently they weren't very comfy.  Yes, I am a terrible mother and took pictures of her before I picked her up to stop her crying.

We also tried these marbled red velvet cheesecake brownies that we found on Pinterest.  Definite Pinterest win!  They were delicious and pretty. Fun!

For the first our four Valentine's Days as a couple, Kelson and I were actually in the same state.  Unfortunately, He was on duty that night, so we still didn't get to be together that day. One of these days the Navy will actually let me have Kelson for Valentine's Day.  We made up for it by eating together on the ship that night and then doing some fun things that weekend.  Stay tuned for the next post to find out what adventures we had...
